We brought electricity to the school and installed lighting in the 14 classrooms and offices at the Shining Star primary school in rural Nyeri county. Previously, on cloudy days and early in the mornings, there had been insufficient light for the students and staff to read, and the students couldn’t see the board. The children are now able to see well all the time.
