The 593 students, staff and community of the Barahachhetra Secondary School did not have access to any potable water. The existing untreated water was causing illness including cholera, dysentery and other bacterial diseases. Working with TGUP's partner, the Nepal Women's Community Service Center, we installed a water purification system and 1,000 liter tank to provide safe, clean drinking water.
