TGUP Project - Maasai: Solar Microgrids in Tanzania 2022
Maasai: Solar Microgrids

, , ,

Project # 244 of 272

This is one of three projects to support the Maasai who live in the Moduli District of Tanzania. Funded separately, ten Maasai women were trained to install clean burning stoves and solar microgrids. These microgrids power lights and electricity in the huts where the Maasai live. This allows for activities inside the huts after dark as well as protects livestock from predators.
