TGUP Project - Manyesa School: Water Well in Malawi 2018
Manyesa School: Water Well

, , ,

Project # 97 of 272

The old well in Manyesa produced only salty water. We helped the village to transition to self-sufficiency by drilling a new well that is now providing clean drinking water for the people and livestock, and irrigation for the crops. The capped well, with controls operated by the power from a solar panel, can produce up to 100 gallons per minute and is allowing the villagers to grow a second crop each year.
