8 - Las Flores School: Two Classrooms

Guatemala, 2023, Education

Project #290 of 411

We built two new classrooms at Las Flores School in Peten, Guatemala. The school has 106 students and 4 teachers. The classrooms had leaking roofs, and holes in the wooden planked walls so wind and rain bleached into the classrooms. The rainy season in this area lasts 9 months so both teaching and attendance suffered.
